LOAD CELLS AND WEIGHING MODULES FROM EILERSEN ELECTRIC A/S ARE NOW IECEX CERTIFIED

What is the difference between ATEX and IECEx?

Where ATEX certification is a European standard, the IECEx certification is an international standard. With the new IECEx certification, Eilersen Electric A/S is able to meet the most demanding requirements for equipment to be used in explosive areas.

But what does this mean to our customers?

Since many countries operate under different standards, it means that Ex equipment must comply with the current standards in the specific country. With our new global IECEx certification, machine builders can safely use Eilersen weighing solutions internationally. The result of this, is that Eilersen is now represented in over 90 countries, where Eilersen digital load cells benefit our customers.

Based on the IECEx approval, Eilersen load cells can be used in Ex zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

ISO: 9001: 2015 as the basis for the IECEx certification

The foundation for the IECEx certification is the ISO: 9001:2015 certification, that Eilersen Electric A/S achieved in the spring of 2017.

The ISO:9001 certification is the result of a thorough review and alignment of the operational processes, which means that all parameters and processes around our products are documented down to the smallest detail.

We have always been very focused on the quality of our products, and extensive internal quality control has been part of our everyday life throughout the company's history.

For the future, our customers will be benefiting from the high quality Eilersen products we have always been known for supplying.
